Servotronics was founded in 1959 by Dr. Nicholas D. Trbovich, who served as a Chairman, CEO, and Company Director until 2017. He guided the company as it designed and developed products in many of the world’s well-known aerospace programs, jet fighters, helicopters, and the Hubbell Space Telescope.

An elected Member of the Niagara Frontier Aviation and Space Hall of Fame, he held patents and received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the University of Rochester, where he earned two Doctorates and an MBA.

The same problem-solving ability and “can-do” attitude shown by Dr. Trbovich is seen in Servotronics’ core value of innovation. The company continues to build on its over 60-year legacy of engineering excellence and quality manufacturing as it launches new products and grows the number of applications for its servo valve precision.
