Servotronics (SVT: NYSE American) is an expert, flexible, and committed servo valve engineering and manufacturing company specializing in optimizing products for Tier 1 aerospace applications. We are a public company founded in 1959 by Dr. Nicholas D. Trbovich. Our 100% USA Made products are manufactured in our Elma, NY facility.

MEET OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM

  • Chief Executive Officer

    Mr. Farrell joined Servotronics in April 2022 and was appointed to serve on the Company's Board of Directors, effective April 25, 2022. Before joining the Company, he served in various roles of increasing responsibility at Moog, Inc., including, most recently, Site General Manager for Moog’s Aircraft Group, which supports military and commercial aerospace applications from 2019 to 2021. Before that, he served five years as Site General Manager for its Industrial Group, supporting markets including flight simulation, oil and gas exploration, power generation, and industrial automation. Mr. Farrell holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration in manufacturing operations management from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

  • Chief Financial Officer

    Robert Fraass joined Servotronics in 2023. In his role, Mr. Fraass is responsible for managing all finance, accounting, and treasury functions. Before joining Servotronics, Inc., he held managerial and executive leadership roles with increasing responsibilities, including Senior Vice President of Finance-Corporate Controller & Treasurer, Vice President of Finance & Administration, Executive Director of Finance, and Corporate Controller positions in the medical device, building optimization, manufacturing technology, and energy industries. Mr. Fraass’ extensive experience includes tenures at Stark Technologies, Ivoclar Vivadent, Integer (NYSE: ITGR), Integrys Energy Services, and Ernst & Young LLP. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bucknell University and he holds Professional Certifications in Public Accounting, Management Accounting, and Strategy & Competitive Analysis, and is a Board Member of the Empire Discovery Institute.

  • Chief Technical Officer

    James Takacs is the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of Servotronics, Inc., serving in that capacity since July 2023. A lifelong Company employee, Mr. Takacs joined Servotronics, Inc. in 1987. He held numerous positions of increasing responsibility, including Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations, Senior Vice President of Operations, and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Takacs holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Buffalo State University of New York.

  • Harrison W. Kelly III joined Servotronics in 2024. In his role, Dr. Kelly is responsible for managing all the Company’s operations. Prior to joining Servotronics, Dr. Kelly served as the President of ProVision, LLC. where he focused on developing quality and regulatory management systems and designing customized operational plans to improve efficiencies and reduce costs. Dr. Kelly has also served as the Chief Quality Officer, Director of Engineering, Director of Operations, and Director of Quality Management Systems at Curbell, Inc. Dr. Kelly has previously been appointed as Professor of Practice and Director of Undergraduate Studies at the University at Buffalo, and has authored multiple book chapters and technical publications. Dr. Kelly was awarded Best Teaching Faculty of the Year by the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences University at Buffalo in 2021 and won the Impact Teacher Award from the National Society of Leadership and Success in 2022. Dr. Kelly earned his Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University at Buffalo, a Master of Science in Applied and Mathematical Statistics from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Theoretical Statistics from the University at Buffalo.

  • Carrie Czerwinski is a seasoned Human Resources leader with over two decades of experience in global industries, including aerospace, medical devices, and automotive manufacturing. In her current role as Human Resources Director at Servotronics, Inc., she provides strategic leadership in areas such as succession planning, talent management, and organizational development. Prior to this, Carrie held key HR positions at Integer Holdings Corporation, General Motors, and more, demonstrating her expertise in managing all aspects of HR service delivery, fostering cultures of continuous improvement, and supporting strategic business objectives. She holds an MBA in Business/Human Resources Management from the University at Buffalo and possesses certifications in various HR-related disciplines. With a track record of driving positive change and optimizing HR functions, Carrie is a valuable asset for organizations seeking to enhance their talent strategies and employee engagement.

  • Francisco Tizón is a seasoned executive with vast experience in Aerospace, Energy, and Industrial markets. Francisco honed his management skills in roles of increasing responsibility with Rolls-Royce, GE Energy, and Pratt & Whitney. He is skilled in leading global teams for new business development, aftermarket services, product, and program management. Francisco is multilingual and has managed businesses in every region of the world. He holds a BS in Aeronautical Science from the Peruvian Air Force Officer's Academy and an MBA from Emory University. In addition, Francisco has multiple professional certifications and years of experience as an Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) and Program Management Professional (PgMP). He is a former air force pilot and flew various types of aircraft including the Hercules C-130 and Antonov An-32. An inclusive leader, Francisco thrives on fostering talent and developing customer relationships.
